Boomtown Bike shop started in March 2026, carrying on the legacy of TAWS Bike Garage/TAWS Cycle & Sport/TAWS Gun & Cycle. The TAWS legacy began in 1971 and remained in operation for 55 years, in the same location. Dean & Tod English bought TAWS Gun & Cycle from their father in 1991, at which time the bicycle and sports store was named TAWS Cycle & Sport.

In 2019, TAWS Bike Garage was created, managed by Justin Bailey, soon to be joined by Fraser Newton. The Bike Garage went full swing and evolved into a full service bike shop. Fraser & Justin brought 50+ years of knowledge and expertise to TAWS Bike Garage. Soon, in 2026, Fraser & Justin created Boomtown Bike Shop.

Boomtown Bike Shop is a full service bike shop. We do e-bikes, mountain bikes, e-mtb, gravel, road, kids… and we service them all.
